Just a quick check-in and of course, photos.
Spring arrived finally, and stayed for all of five minutes. Then it was at the door, letting Summer in.
Although the past few days haven't been particularly hot, they've been warm enough that there's no mistaking them for anything close to the winter-like days we had just some few short weeks ago.
Unfortunately, the sudden uptick in sunshine fried my pepper plant army. :/ This was partially my fault; you're supposed to introduce them slowly to the outside, and I was under the mistaken idea that it would be cloudy for a few days. This was not the case, and within a couple days the leaves all bleached out and fell off. The stems stayed green, however, so I am hoping they'll resprout. I also have more seeds, not of any specific type, but the package reads "salsa mix", so--surprise!
At any rate, my container gardening has hit some snags, but it isn't the end of the world. You can still buy hot peppers at the grocery store; it's just annoying is all.
