#175: Crone Phase Activation Initiated! 👵

 

This came home with me!

Took a good look in the mirror this morning and realized I am almost completely gray up top. Now, some folks would be panicking and running for that bottle of hair dye. 

But not me! I am rapidly turning into a little old lady™, and there are certain perks that come with that. Mainly, you stop giving a crap what other people think of you, if you hadn't already. It is quite liberating if I'm honest. If I were to bump into some of the folks who were a problem in school, I'd just shrug. You think I'm weird? Well, okay. You think I'm still ugly? That's your hang-up, not mine. Hopefully you will not think I am too difficult...... 😉

I've been more attracted to colorful stuff when I do my thrifting nowadays... I fully expect to wake up one morning, and, as Jenny Joseph says,

"When I am an old woman I shall wear purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me...." 

I've been collecting colorful scarves, too. At some point I plan on sewing them all into a skirt, once I get the sewing machine up and running. 

It's bizarre what you find at the thrift store.
This came home with me, too. 

I've been thankful that I haven't caught the "gloom and doom" so many around me have. Not that I haven't been paying attention or keeping an eye on things, it's just... yeah. I've been helping where I can, but if I am unable to I don't let it be a downer. 

There is only so much one can do, you know? Cheer up! November midterms are coming! (REMEMBER TO VOTE. 😁👍) 

4 days til LeadCon! Unsure how it's going to go TBH. I have "spread the word" as much as I can. Hoping the businesses that are participating at least break even so that they'll want to do a bigger and better one next year. 

At present, I am sitting on my bed, munching the last of the Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies, and watching more space stuff. I think we're all holding out collective breaths till the astronauts are home safely. I can't wait to see some of the photos they have taken for us folks back on Earth. (Make America Smart Again! 😁👍👍👍)

with me. Would have liked it but it
was too small! 🤠

I have moved my baby peppers from under the grow light, and have them sitting under my bedroom window. Seems like they need more natural light now, and if I put them in a plastic tub they won't dry out as quickly. I hope I will be able to plant them soon. 

I can't wait to get them growing!
