He'd gone away, and so had the place he'd loved. It wasn't the same, though he wasn't really sure why. It had changed, or stood still while he'd changed, and he didn't fit anymore. It didn't want him...."

See if I do THAT again, any time soon. Screw that.
I did get to visit the Megs, and got a much better reception.
Today we were allowed to come in to work and clean a little bit. The hope is that they'll be opening the doors again for the general public on Thursday, although that seems to be a play it by ear kind of thing. Not sure whether to hope it happens, or whether they get smart and leave things shuttered a little bit longer. We're expected to wear masks and gloves, as if that will make much of a difference.
The place was a bit eerie. All the machines were still off and in a couple places so were the lights. They were in the process of moving the machines further apart when I left this afternoon. Personally, I think it would have just left every other machine turned off, rather than go through all that effort.
But I ain't the boss.

The weather is slowly but surely improving. We're getting more rain than snow now, although it's still a bit on the chilly. Nonetheless, the trees are starting to bud out here and there and I expect there will be a few flowers poking out soon. At least I hope so.
Hoping you and yours are staying safe and healthy (was going to say "sane", but for some of you that is a lost cause!)
Stay tuned!

PS.
Just in case you need a little surrealism....may I present Queen... on a fairground organ...
