#34: Pinnacle to Linville River, 2/11/19

You know you're pretty high up when you come across a literal river of fog.

The day dawned cool and misty, and pretty much stayed that way most of the day. I was glad of the coolness as I hacked and slashed my way through mountain laurel (not much to trim today, but there were a few spots here and there that needed a hair cut.)

I was quite tired at the end of it and glad to come home and hose off the 6 pounds of dirt I felt I had stuck to my body.

As I type, I hear the rain tapping on the roof, a sure sign that it has moved back in to the area. I'm glad it held off today.

Nice to see the mold was out, at least.

What happens when two tree branches grow together....

Shelf fungus tinged with algae. Looks like some sea creature.

Hopefully next month's photos will prove to be a little more colorful as the early spring flowers poke their little faces up again.

Aye,
Kraneia
