Holy balls, it's October already. The Spooky Tree is all up and ready to go. Of course, I'm gonna need to buy more Halloween candy soon; the roomie and I have gone through most of it already. Seems like the months of October through December are the candy months. 

School has been a busy event. Another class, another "scrapbook" done in Powerpoint (that takes up a lot of space on the flash drive and freezes pretty much any computer I try to save it on). This time around it's slightly easier; it's flowering plants rather than grasses (which were all dead, brown, or in photographs for the class I took). A lot of the flowering stuff I already had photographs of, since I'm all ADD oh look a pretty flower let's take a photo of it over the summer and during previous summers. Not an expert by any means, but it makes taking identification tests easier since I kinda know what the flowers look like already. 

My summer stint with SDGFP is drawing to a close; my next decision is whether to do the cafeteria job again (which I am unsure of since the manager is hemming and hawing---you want  help or not??) or something else. It isn't a huge deal--couple days a week to pay for gas and whatnot. Hell, I'll walk my happy ass up to the grocery store if need be. They're always hiring, and if there's too much snow to drive home in I can walk. 

Adding to the list of "I didn't know they were still alive to begin with": Angela Lansbury died yesterday, apparently. Most folks remember her from "Murder, She Wrote", although she's been in a fair amount of other things. She was 96. 

Next stop: Halloweeeeen 🎃
