Got stuck behind a SUV hauling a car, on the way to work.
Now, let me tell you, this car wasn't on a car trailer. Oh no. It was on one of those little flatbed trailers, the ones you park and haul your lawnmower on. Needless to say, the back wheels were hanging off the back, the driver couldn't go over 35 MPH or the whole thing fishtailed across the road, and every jolt made it hop like a bouncy house full of 5 year olds.
Did I mention the car was tied to the trailer WITH BUNGEE CORDS? Not legal, not legal AT ALL.
Kept saying to myself, "This won't end well."
Fortunately, the driver pulled into a parking lot eventually before the steel hulk on the back decided to take a flying leap through my windshield... And so I lived for another day at the Burger Kingdom.
It's funny, when most folks are thinking about decorating for halloween, including hanging up cobwebs, I'm staring up at the ceiling fan, thinking about removing the real ones. Go figure. Now that it's October, we can really concentrate on fall stuff....
It has been raining all friggin' day here...with more on the way. We actually had to turn on the heat this evening, to dry things out in the Technicolor Trailer....
Hope your October started well.
